Python Program to Display Fibonacci Sequence Using Recursion

Python Program to Display Fibonacci Sequence Using Recursion

Fibonacci sequence:
A Fibonacci sequence is a sequence of integers which first two terms are 0 and 1 and all other terms of the sequence are obtained by adding their preceding two numbers.
For example: 0, 1, 1, 2, 3, 5, 8, 13 and so on...
See this example:
  1. def recur_fibo(n):
  2.    if n <= 1:
  3.        return n
  4.    else:
  5.        return(recur_fibo(n-1) + recur_fibo(n-2))
  6. # take input from the user
  7. nterms = int(input("How many terms? "))
  8. # check if the number of terms is valid
  9. if nterms <= 0:
  10.    print("Plese enter a positive integer")
  11. else:
  12.    print("Fibonacci sequence:")
  13.    for i in range(nterms):
  14.        print(recur_fibo(i))

Output:
Python Function Programs8
